Obituary of Elizabeth Ann Nifong

Elizabeth Ann Nifong 87; Jeffersonville, IN Elizabeth Anne Nifong, 87 of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away, Sunday, March 30, 2014, at Clark Memorial Hospital. The visitation will be held on Thurs, April 3, 2014, from 3-8 PM, at Legacy Funeral Center. The funeral service will be held at 11 AM, Friday. She was born July 25, 1926 in Jeffersonville, IN, the daughter of the late Arthur and Viola Romans. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eugene Norris Nifong; sons, David and Kenny Nifong and daughter, Patty Ferree; her brother, Calvin Romans; sisters, Carrie Curtis and "Little Tootsie" Romans. Survivors include her sons, William Nifong Sr. and James Nifong Sr. and daughter, Brenda Lewis (Michael); and two siblings, George Romans (Ruth) and Marie Nifong. She is dearly loved by her 16 grandchildren, 23 Great-grandchildren and 10 Great-great grandchildren. She worked as an employee for Colgate and GE. She was a member of the Sellersburg Full Gospel Church. She loved being with family and eating sweet treats.
