Obituary of Annie Mae Carter

Funeral services for Annie Mae Carter, 78, of Clarksville, IN. will be Saturday, March, 25, 2017 at 7 PM at Brighter Day Anderson Temple Church of God in Christ, 1755 E. 8th Street, Jeffersonville, IN. Visitation will be Saturday from 4-7 PM at the church. Interment will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Ft. Knox, KY. Annie passed away March 13, 2017 at her home with her family by her side. Annie was born January 6, 1936 in Brownsboro Alabama to Johnny and Mary E. Townsend. She was a devoted Christian and loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all. Survivors include her daughters, Deanna Hamlet and Valerie Hamlet; son, Thurman Hamlet; sisters, Marie Drake, Thelma Davis, Patricia Townsend, and Veronica Vance; 7 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
