Obituary of Robert Kirby

Robert “Buddy” Kirby 81; Clarksville, IN Funeral services for Robert “Buddy” Kirby, 81, of Clarksville, IN, will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Legacy Funeral Center, with burial to follow at Eastern Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 PM on Monday and from 11 AM to 1 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. He passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017. Buddy was born and raised in Bowling Green, KY. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Army and then retired after 36 years of service as a Receiving Manager at Sears. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bea Kirby. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Sylvia Kirby; brother, Phil Kirby (Dayle); sister, Margie Carlyle; brother-in-law, Kenny Sellmer (Peggy); nephew, OK Sellmer, and several nieces and nephews. Expressions of sympathy can be made to Park Memorial United Methodist Church of Jeffersonville or the ALS Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
