Obituary of Glenn Earl Blanton

Glenn Earl Blanton 79; Borden Funeral services for Glenn Earl Blanton, 79, of Borden, IN, will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, May 17, 2014, at Christ Gospel Church in Jeffersonville, with burial to follow in Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30-11 AM at the church. He passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2014, at Floyd Memorial Hospital. He was born on July 30, 1934, to the late Jess and Roberta Blanton. He was a retired truck driver, a member of Christ Gospel Church and he served his country in the United States Marines and Army. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mona Osborne; and a brother, William Blanton. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Carol Blanton; a daughter, Lana Novak; two sisters, Betty Jean Reynolds, Serena Sue Marcum; four brothers, Eugene, Charlie, Grover, and Hayward Blanton; and two grandchildren, Isaiah and Jillian Novak.
