Obituary of Jill Renee Johns

Jill Reneé Johns, 46, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away May 2, 2017 at Clark Memorial Hospital, Jeffersonville.
 
Born May 24, 1970 in Jeffersonville, Indiana, she was the daughter of Linda R. Harris (deceased) and James R. Johns (deceased), and Nancy L. Johns, step-mother. Jill is survived by her husband, Daniel Walling; her three children, Jaclyn R. Marshall, Michael R. Bagshaw, and Summer R. Terry; grandparents, Raymond Harris (deceased) and Iona Harris Greishaw; step-grandfather, Ed Greishaw; grandfather, Ross D. Johns and T. Louise Johns (deceased); grandchildren, Kylee R. Marshall, Cameron L. Marshall, and Kaleb J. Wilkerson; siblings, Angela Montano, Bradley Harris (deceased), Laura Shannon, and Melissa Woolard; niece, Whitney Rosenbarger.
 
During her school years, she had a talent for gymnastics, and continued her love of the sport as a spectator. She worked as an optician’s assistant for several years. She also enjoyed and had a knack for interior decorating. Jill loved her dogs.
 
A funeral service will be held Monday, May 8, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville. Visitation will be Monday from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
