Obituary of Garland "Moe" Morrison

Funeral services for Garland Morrison, 72, of Jeffersonville, IN, will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, IN, with cremation to follow. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 PM on Monday, May 15, 217 at the funeral home. He passed away on Friday, May 12, 2017.

He was born and raised in Utica. Garland, also known as “Big Moe“, worked at Jeffboat for 30 years. He had a love for his pets and his guns.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Brigham and Cossie, siblings, as well as one son, Jeffrey Morrison.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Morrison; his children, Lisa McDonough (Patrick), Matthew Morrison (Angela) and step-son Charles Kelly (Sarah); grandchildren, Christopher (Katlynn), Cody, Curtis, Addison and Cassidy; and three great-grandchildren.
