Funeral services for Wilma Melson, 79, of Sellersburg, IN. will be on Saturday, July 29 at 10 AM at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main St. Jeffersonville, IN with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, July 28 from 2 PM - 8 PM and on Saturday from 9 AM - 10 AM at the funeral center. Wilma passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017.

Wilma was born on September 14, 1937 to the late Donald and Edna Hogan. She was a dedicated member of North Side Christian Church. She enjoyed cooking for her family as well as gardening. She cared very much for her flowers. In her free time Wilma also enjoyed camping, watching T.V., and playing games of Yahtzee and Bunco.

Along with her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her loving husband, Cardell Melson; sisters, Judy Firkins, Betty Hogan, Marilyn Rodgers, Grace Jenkins, and Mary Roberson; brother, Mike Hogan; and her beloved shih tzu, Buster.

She is survived by her sons, Steven Melson, Eric Melson, and Kevin Melson (Lesly); sisters, Mable Macrander, and Kathy Casey; brothers, Donald Hogan and Bill Hogan; and her "grand puppies", Rusty Cooper Melson, and Buddy Duke Melson.
