A funeral service for Rosa Gales, 88, of Jeffersonville, IN will take place on Saturday, September 2, 2017, at 11 AM at Bethel AME Church, 200 W Park Pl., Jeffersonville, In 47130 with burial to follow at Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Friday from 5 PM - 8 PM at Bethel AME Church. Rosa passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017 surrounded by family.

Rosa was born on January 1, 1929 to the late James and Ruth Dyson. She was a faithful member of Bethel AME Church, and was known for her love for family.

Left to cherish Rosa's memory are her children, Jimmy Gales (Patricia), and Carmen Ross. Her grandchildren, Mark, Kevin, Amy, Alicia and Pasquel. Her 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.  Her sisters, Elizabeth Williams and Clara Smith.
