Obituary of Michael David Pate

~~Funeral services for Michael David Pate, 46 of Sellersburg, IN, will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street in Jeffersonville, with burial to follow in Eastern Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-8 PM and on Tuesday from 9-12 PM at the funeral home.  He passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017 at his home.
Michael was born on January 19, 1971 in Hardinsburg, KY.  He currently worked as a pipefitter for Local 502.  Michael was an avid outdoorsman.  He enjoyed fishing, four wheeling, kayaking, skiing, and boating.  Michael had a passion for flying remote airplanes with his father.   He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leo and Nonnie Pate, and Dorothy Tindall.
Michael is survived by his loving wife, Stefanie Pate; two children, Alexandria Pate and Cody Pate; his father, Paul Pate (Susie); mother, Dolores Tindall; granddaughter, Charlee Rose Pate; four siblings, Becky Hurt (Jeff); Cheryl Pate; Terry Pate (Anna); Joey Pate; three step-brothers, Larry Wood; David Pate (Paula); Douglas Pate (Kristeen); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
