A funeral service for Vivian Bornhoft, 88, of Jeffersonville, IN will be on Wednesday, September 13 at 11 AM at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main St. Jeffersonville, IN with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville, KY. Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 12 from 4 PM – 8 PM at the funeral center. Vivian passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017.

Vivian was born on March 4, 1929 to the late Elmer and Bertha Thompson. She married Roger Bornhoft and had three children. Vivian loved cooking and often made extravagant meals, even when just cooking for herself. She enjoyed art and also loved music and singing. Her family will always love the memories of her singing around the house while her husband played piano.

Along with her parents, Vivian is preceded in death by her loving husband, Roger Bornhoft; sisters, Eileen Livingston and Evelyn Gay; and son-in-law, Steve Langford.

Vivian is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Reidinger (Tim), Linda Landrum (John), and Sandy Langford; grandchildren, Chelsea Reidinger, Matthew Reidinger, Valerie Waldrop, Benjamin Hedge, Roger Hedge, Anna Marie Landrum, and Thomas Langford; and sister, Rosie Borg.
