Funeral services for Charles R. Broy, 78, of Jeffersonville, IN, will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 18, 2017 at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, IN, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 to 7 PM on Sunday and after 10 AM on Monday at the funeral home. He passed away on September 14, 2017 surrounded by his family.

Charles retired from Tube Turns Division of Chemtron.  He was also a long-standing board member of the Silver Creek Conservation Club. He loved to spend his free time hunting, fishing, camping and trap shooting. 

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Mary C. Broy; parents, Fletch and Clara Broy; and siblings, Jimmy Lee Broy, Betty Jean Kirkpatrick, Sue Ann Cunningham, and Rudy Broy.

He is survived by his daughter, Laura Spencer (Howard); two grandchildren, Catherine M. Spencer and Charles “CJ” Spencer; siblings, Patsy J. Bruce, June M. Berryman and Carol L. James; and many nieces and nephews.
