Obituary of Raymond F. Thornberry

79; Jeffersonville, IN

Raymond passed away peacefully on September 20, 2017 surrounded by his family at the age of 79.

Raymond was known for being outgoing and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was very fond of his '49 Mercury and his various Harley Davidson Motorcycles. During the summer months he could be found enjoying all of the festivities at the Downtown Jeffersonville Riverstage.

He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Evelyn Thornberry.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mary Thornberry; children, Jim Thornberry (Kathy), Jeff Thornberry (Julie), and Pam West (Vic); 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.

The family plans to hold a private service to celebrate his life at a later date.
