Obituary of Geneva "Granny" Murrell

~~A memorial visitation for Geneva “Granny” Murrell, 85, of Jeffersonville, IN, will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 10-12 PM at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street in Jeffersonville.  A graveside service will follow in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.  She passed away on Friday, September 29, 2017 at her home. 
Geneva was born on July 15, 1932 in Glensfork, KY, to the late Bascum and Grace Grant.  She enjoyed crocheting, playing Rummy with her family and spending time with her precious grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Russell S. Murrell; her daughter-in-law, Cecilia Murrell; and six siblings.
Geneva is survived by her three children, Tammy Noble; Jerry Murrell and his wife Elizabeth; Terry Murrell; five siblings, Arlene Grant; Loretta Carrier; Enola Sullivan and her husband James; Lou Ellen Casey; Cecil Thompson; five grandchildren, Jeremy Murrell, Adam Murrell, Amie Kane, Jimmy Noble, Nick Murrell; five great grandchildren, Camryn, Oskar, Liam, Emerson, Kennedy; numerous nieces and nephews; and her faithful companion, Molly.
