Obituary of David Eugene Cox

~~David Eugene Cox ,81, was born in Peekskill, NY on August 2,1936 and died on October 2, 2017.
As a young man, stationed in Germany, Dave proudly served as a paratrooper in the U.S. Army, 11th Airborne Division “Angels”. After his time in the service, he taught Electronics at United Electronics, he was Chief Engineer at WLKY-TV, and retired from Price Weber Advertising agency in Louisville. After retirement, he enjoyed working at Hidden Creek Golf Club.
Dave is survived by his wife of 33 years, Darleen, his children, Anita (Ron) Kuhn, Lisa Cassidy, Glenn Kerns, David (Cameron), Lisa, Tina and Christopher Maddox; Grandchildren, Tyler (Kaitlin) Kuhn, Michael (Cherie) Cox, Chas Kuhn, Brittany Cassidy, Matthew (Allyson) Condra, Andrew Condra, Kayla (Joe) Horneman; Great-grandchildren Lyric and Symphony Broaddus, Penelope, Guinevere and Baxter Condra, and his beloved cat “Little Locket Two Feathers”.
Dave was a member and former Deacon at Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church. He also enjoyed playing golf, bowling, square dancing and spending time with his family.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday October 12th, at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main St. Jeffersonville, IN.
