Obituary of Joyce M. Geiser Haworth

Funeral services for Joyce M. Geiser Haworth, 80, of Jeffersonville, IN, will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street in Jeffersonville, with burial to follow in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 1-8 PM and after 9 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home.  She passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Clark Memorial Hospital. 

Joyce was born on July 15, 1937 in Jeffersonville, IN, to the late Thomas and Hazel Pangburn.  She retired from MKM where she worked many years as a secretary.  Joyce was a member of St. Luke’s Church of Christ and a longtime member of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Unit 35 in Jeffersonville.  She enjoyed traveling, was an avid dancer, and a huge Conway Twitty fan, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Stanley Geiser; second husband, Irvin Haworth; a son, Garry Geiser; and four siblings, Tom Pangburn, Chet Pangburn, Betty Shanahan, and Bill Pangburn.

Joyce is survived by five daughters, Barbara Tetrick (Sam); Marsha Oliver; Lisa Blanton (Neal); Julie Bryant (Dave); Linda Gaye Hartlage (Al); a sister, Donna Grose; step-son, Donald Haworth (Marilyn); step-daughter, Marsha Tharp (John); eighteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
