Obituary of Sweeney S. Dellinger

Sweeney S. Dellinger, 89, of Borden, IN, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at his home.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Legacy Funeral Center has been entrusted with his care.  

Sweeney was born on February 27, 1928 in New Albany, IN, to the late Sweeney Sr. and Mary Scheller Dellinger.  He was retired from auto sales and auctioneering.  Sweeney proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.  He enjoyed cars, horses, and tinkering in the garage.  He will be fondly missed by his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Wanda Fulkerson Dellinger; two daughters, Sheryl Hill (Scott) of California; Debbie Dellinger of Borden; a son, Keith Dellinger of Clarksville; and two grandsons, Matthew and Zach Hill, both of California.
