Obituary of Sarah Louise Kaufman

Sarah Louise Kaufman, 93, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on June 20, 2018 at Baptist Health Floyd. 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 11 to 1 PM on Saturday at the funeral home. 

She was a lifelong member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #327 and Veterans of Foreign War of Jeffersonville.  She was a 1942 Mid-Term Graduate of Jeff High School and retired after 47 years at the old Citizens Trust Bank. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Kaufman; parents, Carl and Ruth Meyer Sr.; and siblings, Robert Meyer, Carl Meyer Jr., and Charles E. Meyer.

She is survived by her two sister-in-laws, Miriam R. Meyer, and Pauline Siegle; nine nieces and nephews, and extended family.

Memorial contributions can be made for renovations to the Nachand Fieldhouse.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
