Donald P. Burdin “Don”

80; Jeffersonville, IN

A funeral service for Donald “Don” Burdin, of Jeffersonville, IN, will be at 11 AM on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main St. Jeffersonville, IN with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, July 15, from 2 PM – 6 PM and Monday, July 16 from 9 AM – 11 AM at the funeral center. Don passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018.

Don was born on September 21, 1937 to the late Tracy and Minnie Burdin. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Jeffersonville. Don worked at General Tire in Virginia and was an entrepreneur in Indiana. His hobbies were drag racing and dancing to rock and roll music.

Along with his parents, Don is preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Mellott.

Don is survived by his cousins (caregivers), Karen Read (Greg), and Sherry Fox (Bill); daughter, Susan Park; grandchildren, Sterling and Zane Park; and nieces and nephews, Pam, Cathie, Brenda, Eddie, Jr., Robbie, and Vicki.
