Obituary of Carol June Duncan

Funeral services for Carol June Duncan, 78, of Jeffersonville, IN, will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Christ Gospel Church, 2614 E. Tenth Street in Jeffersonville, with burial to follow in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be held prior to the service at the church from 9:30-11 AM.  She passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at home surrounded by her family and friends. Legacy Funeral Center has been entrusted with her care.   

Carol was born on August 13, 1940 in Mayfield, KY, to the late Carmen and Opal Shultz.  She was a longtime member and minister with Christ Gospel Churches. She loved spending time with her family and will be deeply missed. 

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nokomis Duncan; a daughter, Cynthia Carol Glassco; and three siblings. 

She is survived by her three children, Cathy Edwards; Angie Ross (James); Nokomis Duncan Jr.; five siblings; nine grandchildren, Keri Glassco, Brad Glassco (Jennifer), Cody Edwards, Cory Edwards (Jessica), Caleb Edwards (Morganne), Brooke Valois (David), Brittany Duncan (Nate Fontes), Victoria Ross (Asato Tashiro), James Ross Jr. (Gabrielle); and eleven great grandchildren.
