Your families have Wayne & my sincere sympathy in the loss of your precious mother. May our Lord comfort you as only He can.
Westa and I became friends over 15 yrs. ago at FBC, when I served in children's ministry & she served in the library & resource center. She helped me access the materials I needed for our children's ministry. We, also, had a lot in common in that we were from the same generation (Boomer's), & our kids were in youth group. Most importantly, though, we had the same Lord of our lives. I still have a couple of devotional books she gave me with her personal inscriptions. I loved your mama & am absolutely sure she is whole again with Jesus.
Love,
Dawn Usui

I’m so sorry for your loss. I have so many memories of Westa starting with my childhood.I remember her making me bows when she worked at Ben Franklin. She made a gift for my mother too because I wasn’t crafty. She also made my wedding veil.
When my daughter was little Westa said “Hi Baby.” Then she started laughing. She said “Listen to me I sound like Elmo.”
When my husband lost his job, Westa was always checking to see if we had everything we needed. She was a very special friend. Loved her so much.
