Obituary of Sonya "Missy" Rosio

A Funeral Mass for Sonya “Missy” Rosio, 49, of Memphis, IN, will be held at 1 PM, on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at St. John Paul II Catholic Church (St. Paul Campus), 216 Schellers Avenue, Sellersburg, IN, with burial to follow in St. Joe Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8 PM and Saturday from 11-1 PM both at the church.  She passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at her home.  

Missy was born on January 20, 1970 in New London, CT.  She graduated from Clarksville High School in 1988.  Missy loved animals and enjoyed an occasional trip to the local casinos, a business in which she worked for over eight years. 

She was preceded in death by her sister, Teresa Lynn Singleton; her step-mother, Ilene “Peach” Pedigo; and her step-father, William Duvall. 

Missy is survived by her loving husband of nearly 18 years, Chris Rosio; two children, Garrett Rosio (Emily); Maggie Rosio; father, Bill Pedigo; mother, Louise Duvall; and her brothers, Eric Singleton (Teresa), Billy, Bobby, and Brian Pedigo.    

Memorial contributions can be made to the J.B. Ogle Animal Shelter, 201 Willinger Lane, Jeffersonville, IN 47130.  Envelopes will be available at the church.
