Obituary of Elsie Louise Duvall

Funeral services for Elsie “Louise” Duvall, 74, of Jeffersonville, Indiana will be held at 11 AM on Friday, March 1, 2019 at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street in Jeffersonville, with burial to follow in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.  She passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Clark Memorial Hospital.  

Louise was born on May 24, 1944 in Bowling Green, Kentucky, to the late William and Della Mae Sullivan.  She previously worked for ICI in Charlestown but was most well known as the “Cake Lady”.  Louise was an amazing baker and loved cooking and baking for her family.   

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Shelton Duvall; two daughters, Teresa “Terri” Lynn Singleton, Sonya “Missy” Rosio; and eight siblings.

She is survived by her son, Eric Singleton (Teresa); a brother, Gerald Sullivan; four grandchildren, Brandon McDonald; Garrett Rosio, Brittany Drury (Chad); Maggie Rosio; and one great granddaughter, Novalynne Drury.
