A memorial service for Ruthann Hedge, 94, of Jeffersonville, IN will be at 7 PM on Friday, March 1, 2019 at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main St. Jeffersonville, IN. Visitation will be on Friday, from 2 PM - 7 PM at the funeral center. Ruthann passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 24, 2019, surrounded by her family. 

Ruthann was born on April 13, 1924 in Lexington, KY.  Shortly after birth, she was adopted and her family moved to Jeffersonville, Indiana.  Amazingly, Ruthann lived her whole life in the same house that her parents brought her home to.

Ruthann was an avid painter, reader, and a lifetime member of Tri Kappa.  She loved her summers at the lake and enjoyed spending time in the garden.

Ruthann is proceeded in death by her parents, Frederick and Anna Mason.

She is survived by his loving husband of 69 years, Warren Hedge; children, Mark Hedge and Anne Starck (Stephen); grandchildren, Andrew Starck (Erika), Elizabeth Starck, and Bradley Starck (Caitlin Marshall); and great grandchildren, Rosemary Starck, Ashton Starck, and Carter Starck; and too many great grand dogs to list.
