Obituary of Jimmy "Jim" Ray Mouser Jr.

Funeral services for Jimmy “Jim” Ray Mouser Jr., 48, of Jeffersonville, Indiana will be held at 5 PM, on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street in Jeffersonville, with cremation to follow.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, prior to the service from 2-5 PM at the funeral home.  He passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019 at Clark Memorial Hospital. 

Jim was born on June 18, 1970 in Louisville, Kentucky.  He was currently working as the head cook at A Nice Restaurant in New Albany.  Jim enjoyed finding treasures at flea markets and refurbishing and remodeling old doll houses and furniture in his free time.   

He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Irene Bertrand Mouser; his mother-in-law, Sharon Eckenrode; and his brother-in-law, James Eckenrode.   

He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Grace Mouser; four sons, Richard Mouser (Tanya), Jeremy Mouser, Casey Mouser, Quinton Mouser (Ashley); his father, Jimmy Ray Mouser Sr. (Debbie Harbeson); two brothers, Cleo Joseph “Joey” Mouser (Christa), Christopher Mouser (Monica); two grandchildren, Layton Mouser, Ray Mouser; and his father-in-law, George Eckenrode.
