Obituary of Edward Ford Greishaw

Edward Ford Greishaw, 82, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at the VA Hospital. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 22, 2019 at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday and after 9 AM on Friday at the funeral home. 

Born in Union City, PA, on May 26, 1936 to the late Arthur and Elizabeth Greishaw.  He worked as a carpenter until retiring after 29 years with the Jefferson County School Board. 

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Art Greishaw and Vernon Greishaw.

Survivors include his wife, Iona Copeland; daughter, Bettie Williams (Gary) of Phoenix, AZ; son, Robert Greishaw (Bobbie) of Phoenix, AZ; daughter, Laura Rivera (David) of New Albany, IN; step-daughter, Janet Shewmaker (Trent) of Clarksville, IN; step-daughter, Carol Cooper (Tim) of Florence, Mississippi; sister-in-law, Loretta Greishaw (Art); 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family members.
