A funeral service for Joan R. Wolke, 91, of Jeffersonville, IN will be at 6 PM on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main St. Jeffersonville, IN. Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 12 PM – 6 PM at the funeral home. Joan’s urn will be memorialized at Cave Hill Cemetery at a later date. She passed away on Friday, April 5, 2019.

Joan was born on June 26, 1927 to the late Robert and Sarah Underhill. She was always known as a caregiver, and her favorite hobby was to love. She loved her family, especially her grandbabies, and never lost her kind and forgiving spirit.

Along with her parents, Joan is preceded in death by her husband, Norman Wolke; son, Orville Brown, Daughters, Linda Brown and Missi Wolke; and her three brothers

Joan is survived by her children, Shelly Gray and Leslie Scrivner; grandchildren, Juanita “Nita” Moore (Wil Rogers), Philip Johnson, and Justin Ames (Tracy); great-grandchildren, Whitney Stover, Joseph Stover, Victoria Scrivner, Zachary Tutt, Shabrea Morales, Travis Sullivan, Amanda Moore, Tabitha Area, Joshua Chrisco, Shawn Chrisco, Brandon Chrisco, Justin Johnson, and Marisa Johnson; and 22 great-great-grandchildren.
