Obituary of Mittie Lacy Taylor
Mittie E. Lacy Taylor of Huntsville, Alabama and a longtime resident of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday April 13th, 2019. Visitation is Saturday June 1st, 2019 in Jeffersonville, Indiana. at Legacy Funeral Center at 10 am followed by a funeral service at 11 am. In Lieu of flowers please donate to Susan G. Mittie was born on March 25, 1938, in Horse Cave, Kentucky to the late Bryan and Bertha Lacy. She was a loving mother and homemaker who thrived on her Garden Club, Bunko group and her love of Bowling. Ever present and supportive of her three sons sports activities, and always had a positive outlook on people and life in general.
Along with her parents, Mittie was preceded in death by her sister Freda Coburn and brothers, Fred Douglas, Harold and Bryce Lacy.
She is survived by, her brother Alfred, sisters Mel D. Sprague(Larry) Sandy Meredith (Ron). Her three sons and spouses, Patrick Taylor (Annette), David Taylor(Theresa), Timothy Taylor, Grandson Ben Taylor ( April), Five Great-Grandchildren, Austin, Ashton, Alise, Trey and Branson, and many nieces and nephews.
