Obituary of Paul Glennon Gray Sr.

Paul Glennon Gray Sr., 57, of Jeffersonville, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at the University of Louisville Hospital.  He was born on July 12, 1961 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Percy Gray, Jr. and Constance Staten Gray.  He was a member of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity within the University of Louisville and was a man of faith.  He was a self-made business man with a great love for sports, especially track and field.  He achieved a black belt in karate at an early age and later in life he developed a love for golf.  Traveling was his favorite hobby and he loved visiting Miami Florida.  In his free time he enjoyed sketching and drawing, it came easy to him.  To most he seemed like an average man but he was gifted and talented beyond measure.

 

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Parker.

 

Paul was an awesome Dad, Papa, Brother and Uncle to: Paul Glennon Gray Jr, (Elizabeth), Danielle Miller (Sterling), Jordan Robbins and Elijah Hatfield; grandchildren, Dionne, Xavier, Pilar, Honor, Titus and Memphis Gray; siblings, Ashael Malloy, Percy Gray III, Preston F. Gray (Natalie), Herbert and Harold Parker, Patrick Gray, Pontrael Gray, and Pertrice McCray; a host of nieces, nephews,  great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. 

 

A service to celebrate his life will be conducted on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 6:00 P.M. at Legacy Funeral Service, 921 Main Street.  Visitation will be from 2-6 P.M.  on Tuesday at the funeral home.
