A funeral service for Ronald G. Singer, Sr., 75, of Jeffersonville, IN will be at 4 PM on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main St. in Jeffersonville. Visitation will be on Sunday from 11 AM - 4 PM at the funeral center. Ronald passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Ronald was born on November 25, 1943 to the late Gilbert and Mabel Singer. He served honorably in the U.S. Army during Vietnam as a Drill Instructor. Ronald then took a job for Reynold’s Metal and he retired from there after 39 years of service. He had an incredible work ethic. In his free time, Ronald enjoyed gardening and enjoying a cold beer.

Along with his parents, Ronald is preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Ray Singer.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Norma “Sue” Singer; children, Ron Singer, Jr. (Diane), Rhonda Thompson (Bill McRae), and Tricia Jaggers (Doug); grandchildren, Katie, Kasey, Zach, Shelby (Joshua), Logan, Zack, Danielle, Kayla (Ashleigh), Lane and Jordyn; great-grandchildren, Silas, Errion, Lyla, Kent, and Jax; sister, Patricia Kendall (David); and sister-in-law, Karen Singer.

Donations can be made toward the Alzheimer’s Association and The Gary Sinise Foundation, which supports those who sacrifice to defend the United States: active duty, veterans, first responders, and their families.
