Mitchell Joe Shannon “Mickey”

Mitchell J. Shannon “Mickey”, 50, of Jeffersonville, IN passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019 at his home. Legacy Funeral Center has been entrusted with his cremation.

Mickey was born on May 24, 1969 in New Albany, IN. He was a Laborer for Big Horn Lumber out of Laramie, WY, and he enjoyed spending his time outdoors and caring for animals. Mickey was also an artist, specializing in airbrush art, painting, and drawing. Most importantly, he will be remembered for his kind and generous spirit. He was always willing to help those in need.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Naomi Shannon (Leo) and William Shannon (Maurine); siblings, Michael Shannon (Jennifer), Mark Shannon (Stephanie), Marty Shannon (April), Matthew Shannon, Kelly White (Steve), and Robin Shannon; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and extended family members and friends.
