Obituary of Tony Gene Barnett

Funeral services for Tony Gene Barnett, 52, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Christ Gospel Church, 2614 E. 10th Street in Jeffersonville, with burial to follow in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 1-8 PM at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street in Jeffersonville, and on Wednesday prior to the service from 9:30-11 AM at the church.  He passed away on Friday, June 21, 2019 in Jeffersonville.  

Tony was born on July 23, 1966 in Dexter, Missouri.  He owned and operated Tony’s Lawn Care in Jeffersonville.  Tony always looked forward to making trips back to Missouri to visit his family.  He enjoyed deer hunting and fishing when he was younger, but most of all he loved putting on a firework display for family and friends on July 4th!

Tony is survived by his parents, Ricky and Linda Barnett; three siblings, Tonya Chester; Terry Langley; Tory Lee Barnett; four nieces and nephews, Nicole, Nicholas, Neal Langley, and Tara (Jeremy) King; and six great nieces and nephews, Kevin, Kyle, Addison, Ayden, Atticus Langley, and Sawyer King.
