Obituary of Jerry "Wayne" Castile

Jerry “Wayne” Castile, 71, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on July 4, 2019. 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 PM on Tuesday and from 9 to 11 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home. 

Wayne was a driven worker for his whole life and then retired in 2016 from Flow International Robotics.  He was an avid learner who loved to read and enjoyed history.  He loved to spend time with his family and adored his grandchildren and great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Herbert Castile and Mertie Alene Castile; and two brothers, Robert Castile and James Castile.

He is survived by his four children, Michele Castile (Butch), Brett Castile (Connie), Heather Harris (Jeff), and Rachel Hill; sister, Shelby Bottorff (Richard); twin brother, Terry Dwayne Castile (Theresa); four grandchildren, Foster Couch, Brooklyn Harris, Corey Castile, Tess Hill; and one great-granddaughter, Bailey Herron.
