Obituary of Jimmy Edgar Varner II

Visitation for Jimmy Edgar Varner II, 46, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, will be held from 4 – 8 PM on Monday, July 15, 2019, at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street in Jeffersonville, with cremation to follow.  He passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at home surrounded by his loving family.    

Jimmy was born on August 28, 1972 in Rolla, Missouri.  He grew up working alongside his late grandfather on their dairy farm in Missouri.  Jimmy was an avid fisherman, enjoyed camping, and watching his daughter race cars.   

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dixie Forbes; and his grandparents, Fred and Arlene Field.

Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Luann Varner; four children, Jonathan Hafley, Hayley Varner, Dalton Varner, Grace Varner; grandson, Jonathan Hafley; his father, Jimmy Edgar Varner (Margaret); two sisters, Karen McCain (Jeff), Terry Gregory; three nieces and two nephews, Crystal Helms (Tony), Cayce Thomas (Josh), Arlington Donohoo, Brandon Forbes, and Corey Dean Jr.
