A funeral service for Salina C. Franklin, 45, of Louisville, KY, will be at 4 PM on Friday, August 2, 2019 at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main St. Jeffersonville, IN. Visitation will be on Friday from 12 PM – 4 PM at the funeral center. Salina passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Norton Audubon Hospital.

Salina was born on March 17, 1974 in Tampa Florida. She was known for her sense of humor and fun spirit. Most importantly, Salina was a loving mother and daughter and her kind nature will be remembered by all who knew her.

Salina is preceded in death by her mother, Deborah Smith; son, Keith Franklin; and grandmother, Daisy Carlisle.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Amy Mayhew, Timothy Franklin, and Jamila Franklin; grandchildren, Macy and Logan Mayhew; father, Terry McDowell; step-father, Aaron Smith; brothers, Terry McDowell II and Tommy McDowell; aunts; Patty Shetler, Rosanne Richey, and Carol Kramer; uncle, Richard Hooker; and a host of extended family members and friends.
