Obituary of Michael A. Haven

Funeral services for Michael “Shaky” A. Haven, 60, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, will be held at 4 PM on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street in Jeffersonville, with cremation to follow.  Visitation will be held on Sunday prior to the service from 1-4 PM at the funeral home.  He passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at Clark Memorial Hospital.  

Michael was born on September 30, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky, to Rose Gwendolyn Haven and the late, Charles Oscar Haven.  He previously worked as a mechanic for the City of Jeffersonville and he proudly served his country in the United States Army.  Michael had a fond interest of cars and motorcycles and enjoyed a good cup of coffee at the Waffle House.

Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles “Chuck” Alfred Haven.

Michael is survived by his two children, Brandy Nicole Mahaffey (David Alan II); Andrew Thomas Haven; his mother, Rose Gwendolyn Haven; and two nephews, Charles “Chris” Christopher Haven (Meagan); and James “Jimmy” Alfred Haven (Jackie). 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in care of the Haven Family.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
