Cara L. Pope, 52, of Shepherdsville, KY, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

A funeral service will be at 12 PM on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main St. Jeffersonville, IN, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation for Cara will be on Tuesday, August 20, from 10 AM – 12 PM at the funeral center. Pastor Chuck Evaline will be officiating the service.

Cara was born in Louisville, KY on October 24, 1966 to the late James and Lillian Pope.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Jessica Bouvier.

Surviving Cara is her son, James Ray Bouvier; grand-daughter, Lily Reanne Bouvier; beloved ex-spouse, Jimmy Bouvier and his wife Teresa Bouvier, whom Cara was so grateful to have as another mother in her children’s lives; siblings, Jeannie Young (Russ), Jim Pope (Peggy), and Gary “Butch” Pope (Diane); several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her beloved dogs, Bella, Jasper, and Remi.

Memorial contributions can be made toward the care of the Cara’s Family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
