Leroy T. Morlan, 79, of Scottsburg, IN passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at the Waters of Scottsburg Nursing Home. 

Legacy Funeral Center has been entrusted with his cremation, and his urn will be memorialized at 1 PM on Friday, August 30, 2019 at Walnut Ridge Cemetery, 2421 Hamburg Pike, Jeffersonville, IN. 

Leroy was born on March 19, 1940 to the late Oscar and Pauline Morlan. Leroy played the steel guitar in his youth, which led him to a dancing career as a young and middle aged man. He was an Arthur Murray Dance Instructor and won many championship tournaments. Leroy was considered one of the finest dance teachers of his time. He enjoyed a successful career in sales and won many awards as a salesman of the year in the insurance industry. He also loved children and would be there when a child was in need. 

Left to cherish his memory is his brother, Jerry Morlan and his wife, Marsha; and his sister, Sharon Reynolds.
