Obituary of Dianna Sue Pickerill

Funeral services for Dianna Sue Pickerill, 76, of Sellersburg, Indiana, will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Carr Township Baptist Church, 2720 Crone Road, Borden, Indiana, with burial to follow in Friendship Cemetery in New Albany.  Visitation will be held on Friday, from 2-8 PM and on Saturday from 9-11 AM at the church.  Legacy Funeral Center in Jeffersonville has been entrusted with the arrangements.  She passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Baptist Floyd Hospital.

Dianna was born on April 18, 1943 in Corydon, Indiana, to the late Jake Allen and Lilly White.  She had a love for crafts, especially ceramics and sewing.  Dianna was a faithful member of Carr Township Baptist Church and she will be deeply missed by her loving family.   

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Allen; and a granddaughter, Amanda Himebaugh.

Dianna is survived by her loving children, Thomas Himebaugh; Michael Himebaugh (Rhonda) “Shanaynay”; Melissa Grether (Allen); Tina Leach (Dano); Suzie Pickerill (Michael Deutsch); seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. 

Memorial contributions can be made to Carr Township Baptist Church.  Contribution envelopes will be available at the church.
