Obituary of Warren Victor Hedge

Warren Hedge, 96, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 8, 2019, surrounded by his family.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville.  Visitation will be held from 2 to 7 PM on Saturday at the funeral home. 

Warren was born on August 10, 1923 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to parents Hazel “Mick” and Carmen Hedge. 

Warren was a World War II veteran, graduate of Indiana University (1951), schoolteacher at Clarksville H.S., lover of animals and children, photography, and the outdoors.  He loved spending time at Nolin Lake.

Warren is preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Ruthann, his parents Mick and Carmen, brothers Keith and Gene “Mickey”. 

He is survived by his children, Mark Hedge and Anne Starck (Stephen); grandchildren, Andrew Starck (Erika), Elizabeth Starck, and Bradley Starck (Caitlin Marshall); and great grandchildren, Rosemary Starck, Ashton Starck, and Carter Starck; and too many great grand dogs to list.
