Jill A. Whitlatch of Charlestown, IN passed away at her home on Thursday, October 31, 2019. Legacy Funeral Center has been entrusted with her care.

A celebration of life will be at 12:30 PM on Monday, November 4, 2019 at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main St. in Jeffersonville, IN. Visitation for Jill will be on Monday from 10 AM – 12:30 PM at the funeral center.

Jill was born on May 22, 1962 in Jeffersonville, IN. She was a graduate of New Washington High School and went on to serve as a florist at both Ray Herdt Florist of Jeffersonville and Ivy Vine Florist of Madison, IN. Jill was known by many as a free spirit or nature child. She also had a nurturing spirit and was passionate about caring for animals. 

Jill is preceded in death by her mother, Anna Lee Ross; and her beloved dog and faithful companion, Zane.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Warren Whitlatch (Amelia McDonald); father, Dillis Ross; grandson, Ross Whitlatch; brother, Jeff Ross; nieces, Ashley Ross and Abby Flaget; nephew, Andrew Ross; special uncle, Don Ross; and a host of extended family members and friends.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Kentucky Humane Society or to the North Clark Outreach Center. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
