Obituary of Malcolm "Mike" Keown

Malcolm “Mike” Keown 70; Jeffersonville, IN Funeral services for Malcolm “Mike” Keown, 70, of Jeffersonville, IN, will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 22, 1015 at Legacy Funeral Center in Jeffersonville, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 to 8 PM on Friday and after 9 Am on Saturday at the funeral home. He passed away on August 19, 2015. Mike was a Super Stock Drag Racing World Champion and the owner of Mike Keown Racing, which specialized in Super Stock Racing Engines. In times of relaxation, he loved fishing, boating and being outdoors. Mike was also a member of West Maple Street Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Forrest L. Keown; and brother, James E. Keown. He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Keown; mother, Mary E. “Betty” Keown; two sons, Aaron Keown and James Alex Keown; grandson, Max Keown; and two stepsons, Christian Kranz and Joseph Fykes.
