I am deeply saddened by Austin's passing. Austin, you had such a great energy that surrounded you everywhere you went. Your smile was contagious. I am grateful for the time that we were allowed to have with you here on this earth. You will be missed and you will not be forgotten my brother. I hope you can shine your love and light down upon us all.
So sorry for your loss JoJo, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I have such vivid memories of Austin as our little 5-year-old neighbor on Bartle Knob Road, running around with his German shepherd, Poncho, and a smile always beaming from his being. His was a presence to be noticed and remembered. Much love and light your way.

JoJo and Tyler,
This is never an easy time, for anyone. It seems even harder when our loved one is still in the prime of their life. But rest yourself in Jesus's arms knowing that his ways are higher than our ways and his thoughts are greater than our thoughts. We must trust in God, and we will rejoice with our loved ones again.
When we lose someone to an overdose there are questions that we will never know the answers to. I assure you that there was nothing that you could have said or done that would have changed the outcome.
A drug addicts mind doesn't reason the same way as normal people. When we are in active addiction we are only interested in getting more and the ways and means to get more. If an addict survives an overdose usually the first words out of their mouth is where is my dope I need another shot.
Don't beat yourself up looking for answers that aren't coming. Pray for the addicts who are still suffering.
I love you
Darrin
