Obituary of James "Austin" Strickland

A memorial visitation for James “Austin” Strickland, 35, of Jeffersonville, IN, will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 1-4 PM at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street in Jeffersonville. He passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at his home and cremation was chosen. Austin was born on May 20, 1981 in Louisville, KY, and had been working at Buffalo Wild Wings in Clarksville. He was full of life and will be truly missed by all his loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John L. Hagan, Virginia Hagan, James L. Strickland; and his step-father, Richard L. Geoghegan Jr. Austin is survived by his mother, JoAnn Geoghegan; his father, James Daniel Strickland (Patti Zelli); a brother, Tyler D. Strickland; grandmother, Betty Coons; step-grandparents, Paula Rodman and Richard L. Geoghegan; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
