We are really saddened to hear the loss of your wonderful father. He was an extraordinary
man. I have so many happy memories spending time with Joyce and the family at their home in Macon Georgia. Bless all of you.

God bless you & keep you in his loving arms. You are loved so much & will be forever missed. Pap I will be forever grateful for everything you've done for Roger & our family. I will never forget how you took care of Rod & I when we were living in Georgia. I will always remember you saying to all of us, "If you don't have nothing nice to say, don't say nothing at all". And you definitely lived by that rule. You had nothing but nice words for all that knew you. That's why you was so well loved by all. You was so well thought of by LandMill developers, they named one of their homes "The Goforth", in your honor, a true legacy that will live on forever. You was such a hard-working man, but that's what you loved doing. You especially wanted your yard to look nice, and it always did. You was a very loving & caring, husband, father, & grandfather. You have been in my life for over 40 years & the only father figure in my life for the past 19 years. You always, allways loved me as one of your own. I will miss you Pap, but you are no longer in pain. Now you can go rest high on the mountain, your work on earth is done.
