George "Ed" Hopkins, 49, of Jeffersonville, IN passed away on August 25, 2018. Legacy Funeral Center has been entrusted with his care.
Ed grew up in Louisville, resided in Louisville and jeffersonville, and was a die-hard UofL Cards fan. He attended Clemson University and spent his careert in IT at Progress Rail.
With the soul of a traveler and the mind of a sysop, Ed's heart was gigantiic. He never met a stranger, and had a smile that could light up the room. His passions were his children and grandchild, any genre of music (as long as it was awesome, and live), all things computer/digital/IT (especially hardware), and tennis.
Ed was predeceased by his mother, Nancy Day Williams and his father, George Hopkins. He is survived by his children, Jude Titus Staggs Salmon and Rain Geordan Reese Hopkins, his grandson, Emery Parker Rain Salmon, and five sisters and one brother.
